Just Cars Las Vegas makes it 10
Just Cars started 10 years ago this year with only 40 attendees meeting in New Hampshire. The following year I held the event in San Antonio, TX. my home town, writes Jim Hetchler.
We limited attendance to the first 100 to sign up. We continued with this for the next seven years. I also invited distributors and manufacturers I selected to attend.
It also continued that way for the next seven years. We always filled the slots within seven to 10 days once we announced it. We moved it around the country taking advantage of Auto Auctions and Manufacturer sites. We held a show at the USA Strattec Plant and then the next year at the KABA-Ilco plant.
In 2011, we moved the event to the inside track of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and opened up registration to anyone wishing to attend. We had about 400 locksmiths attend this one. We then went to Orlando, FL. one mile outside of Disney World. We had about 480 attendees. This year in Las Vegas I expect 500+ with visitors from as far afield as Australia. Dates are 3 - 5th May, Las Vegas Speedway.

The event will be held again next year in Orlando, FL.
