Axxium to unveil remote control locks at the Locksmiths Exhibition
Axxium Ltd will use this year's Locksmiths' Exhibition to launch a number of innovative new products which are capable of operation by remote control. They are suitable for high security applications for use in smart homes and also in assisted living applications.
Axxium was set up in September 2012 by Andrew Taylor, well known throughout the locksmith industry.
Taking pride of place will be an electric spindle which enables existing latchsets and mortice nightlatches to be converted to an access control device with minimum alteration to the door.
Also on show for the first time will be a new mortice sash lock which features a unique electrically driven deadbolt - a motor lock without a motor!
Two other products, the JC2460 Electric Escape Lock and the JC2465 Electric Sash Lock will be demonstrated at the show. Both can be operated via a mobile phone. Visitors will be able to see these exciting new products in action although production will not start until later in the year.
Visitors to the Locksmiths Exhibition (taking place at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham Sat 2nd and Sun 3rd March) will be able to see Axxium on stand A3.
