Greg O'Brien is appointed Divisional Director Security Services for UK facility services business

* greg_obrien.jpgLancashire based AM Support Services, a leading UK facility services contractor, has appointed Greg O'Brien to head up its new Security Division.
Greg O'Brien says "I'm thrilled to be joining such a progressive business, into a role that enables me to challenge the security industry norms. I'll be working with an existing team of security professionals who are delivering an exceptional level of customer service. As well as enhancing our security operations I'm looking forward to developing the individual roles for our security officers."

All security staff of AM Support Services are licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the UK regulator for the private security industry. The company is also a member of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS), an accreditation awarded for its commitment to quality following a stringent assessment.

This latest appointment follows the announcement in May that Martin Airey had been appointed Divisional Director for Cleaning Services, and in 2009 the acquisition of Pristine Washrooms Limited and the appointment of Pristine's Simon Wilkinson to run its washroom hygiene sales operations.

Managing Director of AM Support Services, Adrian Cresswell, says "Our company is working harder than ever, building an infrastructure that we believe will support the future growth of our business and our ability to bid successfully for multi-service facility service contracts. Greg is without doubt the right candidate to be leading our security division, whilst his appointment also strengthens our position as a leading player in the FM marketplace."
