Samsung appoint Access Control BDM
Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd has recruited Paul Taylor as its Access Control Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland.
Paul, whose career in the electronic security industry spans eighteen years, has for the last two and a half years worked for ACT (Access Control Technology) where he was Sales Manager. He has previously performed sales roles within the access control divisions of Siemens Security Products and Gardiner Security.
Reporting to Simon Shawley, General Manager UK & Ireland for Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd, Paul will be responsible for developing relationships with consultants, installers, system integrators and distributors in order to identify new sales opportunities for Samsung's Access Control product range.
Commenting on Paul's appointment, Simon Shawley said: "The introduction of our Access Control product range is an important part of our strategy to become a full security solutions provider. Paul's immense knowledge of the access control marketplace will therefore be extremely valuable to us as we look to promote the benefits of our comprehensive and flexible range of access control solutions to our fast growing network of customers in the UK and Ireland."
