Breaking records at the UAP Tradelocks Open Weekend

* TL-Open6.jpgTradelocks has changed over the last 12 month, and it demonstrated how much it has changed at its Open Weekend. Gone are the cheap Chinese products to be replaced by high quality branded goods from Peterson, Keyline, Genuine Lishi and KeyDIY.

And Tradelocks has grown over 30% in the last 12 months as a result of this approach.

David Jennings, Managing Director, says "Tradelocks have been gearing up to be a major force in the industry over the last 12-18 months. We have aligned ourselves to the best brands in the market, and we have invested heavily in stock, staff training and customer servicing. And now we are ready to take our message to the market".

The Open Weekend saw over 100 locksmiths plus their partners and children enjoy 2 days of sunshine, free training, live car demonstrations, free Food, drink and children entertainers. And the locksmiths loved it. This is what they said;

"For me personally it was a great eye opener the 'lock school' with Pat McGinn. It was great and I enjoyed that taster very much." Peter Martin

"The main benefit for me was the free training and the advice from Martin Pink and Pat McGinn on the Lishi stand. I also welcomed the chance to talk to other locksmiths about your products." John Rossiter

"Thank you for a lovely day on Saturday in a relaxed friendly atmosphere and your hospitality was much appreciated by myself and my two colleagues that were with me. I think all three of us came away knowing a little bit more about the tools and equipment that you are supplying." Dave Cassidy

* TL-Open1.jpg* TL-Open2.jpg"The attention to detail in putting the weekend together was excellent with the demonstrations, workshops, deals, new releases and not forgetting the hog roast and beer tent (...). You really managed to give a trade show a family feel which can only be a good thing." Barry Brown

Keyline were there in force demonstrating their wonderful machines and even test marketing a new product being released this week.

Elena Bianchi said, "it was a wonderful event. We saw many locksmiths who loved the new Ninja range of machines, and for Tradelocks to sell 6 at the weekend was a fantastic achievement."

David Jennings continued, "it was a great weekend, and it is rewarding for Tradelocks to be associated with some great brands, and also some great and respected industry giants like Martin Pink. Selling 6 of the Keyline machines was a great result especially as 2 of them were the Ninja Dark for which we have the UK exclusive. But we also sold over 200 Night Vision Tools, as well as several hundred KeyDIY products. All in all it was a great success, and we sold more goods than ever before at any previous event or exhibition we have attended."
