Docklands inventor seeks crowd-source funding for portable lock

A new portable lock to keep people safe when they are on the move has been invented by a London Docklands entrepreneur, who is looking to crowd-source funding for his business.

Bob Fitzjohn hopes TheEasyLock will empower people when they travel or who want extra protection for their goods.

This week he launched a funding appeal on the crowd-sourcing website Indiegogo to help get the project off the ground. The new lock can be used from the inside of a door, which Bob says makes it especially useful for young women when travelling abroad.
