UAP TradeLocks donate £2000 to Children in Need

* Pudsey.jpgChildren in Need took place throughout November and UAP TradeLocks got into the spirit by donating £2,000 to the cause.

TradeLocks, leading supplier of specialised Locksmith tools, pledged to donate a percentage of every invoiced raised during Children in Need week. The company then made the decision to double the donation to help disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.

Children in Need raised a record breaking £31 million on appeal night, this goes towards providing grants to projects in the UK which focus on young people who are disadvantaged.

UAP TradeLocks' MD, David Jennings said: "At UAP TradeLocks we take charity seriously and always try to do our bit to give back. We are proud to have been able to contribute to Children in Need and would like to thank all of our customers for making our donation possible."

TradeLocks has gotten involved in several charities over the years, last Christmas it sponsored Key 103's Mini Jingle Ball and provided 80 disadvantaged children with a winter wardrobe. UAP also helped to build five much needed primary schools in Nepal. This Christmas UAP TradeLocks is sponsoring Smooth Radio's North West Toy Appeal, this aims to ensure that disadvantaged children have a present to open on Christmas morning.
