Winsted equips state of the art demonstration room at Samsung

Leading control room furniture manufacturer Winsted has equipped a new state-of-the-art demonstration room at Samsung Techwin.

Established in 1977 and part of the Samsung Group, Samsung Techwin is Europe's leader in the supply of leading consumer, professional and industrial security products. They are a leading innovator of security products across many markets such as: Transportation, Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing, Government and Utilities.

Having relocated premises to Height Brooklands, a prestigious riverside commercial office development Samsung Techwin Europe saw an opportunity to create a state of-the-art demonstration room where all of the company's very latest IP Network solutions were to be on show.

Winsted were invited to provide ideas for the demonstration room's furniture requirements, and produced computer aided design (CAD) drawings and colour renders giving a complete visualisation of the project.

Winsted proposed a Prestige Sight-Line console, selected for its modern aesthetics perfect for this high-tech environment, custom finished in Samsung's corporate colours with a vibrant blue work surface and incorporating the Samsung logo on each side panel.

The console allows use of Winsted's Versa-Trak display mounting system for ergonomic comfort and adjustability. Combined with VESA-compliant brackets, Versa-Trak has enabled two 21in flat panel screens to be easily attached and provides horizontal and vertical adjustability for optimal viewing angles and sight lines for the operating staff. The console also offers long-term advantages through its modular design, which allows the console to be adapted to meet changing future requirements, thereby extending its operational lifespan.

Winsted's proposed solution for the demonstration room was commissioned ahead of rival bids and installed by Winsted's installation team at the company's impressive new Weybridge location.
