Smartair is the educated choice

Mul-T-Lock UK's innovative Smartair units have been fitted to external doors at The Green School by local locksmiths PW Secure-It, to upgrade the school's security from a mechanical locking system to an access control solution.

Smartair provides a secure all-in-one access control solution that reduces the cost and inconvenience associated with wiring a traditional access control system.

The Green School in Middlesex contacted PW Secure-It to upgrade the system on site with a wire-free, easy to use access control system that could manage 'key' control and withstand the high daily volume of traffic passing through the school.

PW Secure-It, recommended Smartair as a complete, access control unit that could work from existing programming and be quickly fitted to ensure the security of the School.

To date, Smartair has been fitted to external doors, with minimum disruption to learning timetables. Access through each door is now only authorised by presentation of unique Smartair user cards.

Says Dave Lawrence, Facilities Manager of The Green School: "The safety of the pupils attending our school is of paramount importance. When it was decided to upgrade the security arrangements, PW Secure-It recommended Smartair to bring all the convenience and added benefits of access control. Installation was quick and it is easy to use; in fact, the whole process was seamless from start to finish."

Smartair is a 'bolt on' solution for use on internal and external doors, and in many circumstances, can be fitted to existing door locks with the option of retaining existing key systems.

For locksmiths, Smartair overcomes many of the obstacles traditionally associated with upgrading to access control systems. Mul-T-Lock believes it provides a genuine bridge between mechanical security and electronic access control.

Smartair is supplied ready to fit in one pack, complete with handles, batteries, a fitting tool and spindles. The kit also comes with an installation card for use by locksmiths or fitters during installation.
