Lockexpo 2020 sponsored by Autowave - a message to our community regarding COVID-19

* washing-hands.jpgWe are passionate and dedicated to delivering the best possible experiences for everyone who attends our exhibitions, we know that Lockexpo 2020 means a great deal to a lot of people, and we care deeply about the Locksmith community.

We always want the best for our Visitors and Exhibitors alike and so wanted to let you know that as of today, Lockexpo 2020 at The Belfry Hotel Nottingham is planned to run as scheduled on 18th and 19th April.

We are following the protocols and advice set by the World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health England and the relevant local authorities in Nottingham, but of course it’s a rapidly changing situation. We are monitoring the situation closely and if these guidelines change between now and the show, we will act upon those new guidelines and immediately update our position.

The well-being of our Locksmith community, from our attendees and exhibitors to our staff on-site at every show is of the utmost importance to Locksmiths Exhibition Ltd, and we take pride in creating a positive environment to celebrate Locksmithing, new products, networking and social events.

For that purpose we insist that all fans, guests and exhibitors adhere to good sense and all the WHO and NHS advice on protecting yourselves from infection.

We are working closely with the Belfry to put sensible precautions in place, these currently include:

- Strengthened hygiene, sanitisation, availability of disinfectants onsite at venue including additional sanitation stations We will have hand sanitation at reception, wipes for keyboards and reception desk areas
- Increased cleaning protocol at high volume touchpoints such as toilet doors, the bar and public areas
- Implementation of a no contact policy no handshakes just respectful acknowledgements

For the comfort of everyone attending Lockexpo 2020 at The Belfry we ask that anyone feeling unwell please do stay at home, and we thank everyone for their cooperation.

For any additional queries, please watch your e-mails and texts our website and Locks and Security News each Wednesday.

We are very much looking forward to a weekend of fun with you all in Nottingham on the 18th and 19th of April. Don’t forget to register!
