Opera iControl by AGB: the electronic lock with wall reader

* Opera-Control_amb.jpgAGB are a leading Italian manufacturer of locks and window hardware. With years of know-how in hotel locks, Opera iControl is the latest innovative electronic lock designed to be coupled with the wall readers of rooms management systems.

Compared to typical hotel locks, Opera iControl offers exceptional room security, auto-deadbolting the door with a magnetic latch and steel deadbolt. To exit the room, the guest pushes down the handle, releasing both latch and deadbolt conforming to anti-panic requirements. The lock is CE marked and fire-tested to EN1634 up to FD60.

The architect appreciates the minimalist design, with no protruding latch when the door is open, and the ultra-silent operation. The designer can fit any design of handle to the lock, to match other areas of the building.

From the hallway side, the handle is unlocked by an impulse of 12-24 V AC/DC and a coded infrared message is sent to open the battery-operated lock. In case of emergency, there is the mechanical cylinder which ensures the manual door opening even if there is a blackout of power supply.
