Loxal's Block Lock awarded 'Secured by Design'

* Loxall-Block-Lock.jpgLoxal Security's revolutionary Block Lock - which utilises the company's unique and revolutionary IDACS technology (Intelligent Digital Access Control System) - has been recognised for its capabilities to deter and reduce crime by Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.

It is the second of Loxal's products to be accredited by SBD in the last 18 months.

Comments Dan Delany, Director of Loxal Security: "Receiving the Secured by Design rubber stamp, so to speak, is welcome recognition for our ultra-secure IDACS Block Lock, a user-friendly digital site lock, which has been designed to be used in the most demanding of industrial environments.

"The product is easily installed, and its versatility also means it can be used for palisade fencing, storage units, industrial units, warehouses, garages, roller shutters, depots, shipping containers, HGV containers, equestrian facilities, offices and welfare units.

"The lock, which is wireless, and battery operated, contains audit software, which you would typically expect to find on a hardwired access system, making it the obvious first choice for countless trade types including utilities companies, construction companies, haulage operators and many more."
Comments Lyn Poole, SBD Development Officer, says: "The Block Lock is an important product in the marketplace as it provides an effective solution for remote site security and access control."

The Block Lock also integrates fully with Loxal's video verification alarm system, so administrators and site managers will no longer have to issue separate codes for the alarm; this, combined with IDACS emergency codes, creates even greater security.
