TC Security Services receive award of Distinction at ACS Pacesetters

* ACS.jpgAlan Cutts, Security officer at TC Security Services, has been awarded as "Officer of Distinction" at a lunch hosted by ACS Pacesetters at Royal Windsor Race Course on Tuesday 24th May, 2016.

He was nominated by the Regional Operations Manager of their client who is responsible for a global leading automotive company which operates out of multiple sites in the UK & Europe, including the 87 acre import centre in Bristol.

It is here where Alan along with the rest of the TC Security Services team provide a range of services including manned guarding, CCTV alongside a raft of added value services to help reduce risk and maintain excellent Health & Safety at the site.

On hearing about the award, Alan, who is in his 20th year of being a security officer, was surprised that he would be recognised in this way.
He said,

"I get paid to do a job that I enjoy coming to work for so to be recognised for doing the job I do to the best of my ability is really rewarding. He went on to say, "There are obviously the standard checks and jobs that need to be done 99% of the time but due to the size of the site and the various comings and goings, no two days are the same and this is one of the things I love about my job."

When asked whether there are any particular highlights of his role without any pause or hesitation, Alan said, "Being treated as one of the family. Although we are not directly part of the Client's company as they contract their security services to us, I feel I am very much part of the family. This means I can bring myself to the role and the client will listen and take my advice."

Talking more broadly about the lunch, Alan mentioned how interesting it was to hear how security officers regularly put themselves on the line to protect people or assets to give their clients peace of mind.

Richard Chappell, CEO TC Facilities Management, the parent company of TC Security Services said,
"These awards are further testament to the commitment TC Security Services display to their clients, their people and a determination to provide customer-focussed service."
