Veracity installs COLDSTORE at The Star complex
Veracity, a leading provider of innovative, intelligent solutions that solve real-world IP video challenges in transmission, storage and display, has announced the successful installation of its COLDSTORE surveillance storage systems at The Star complex, a set of administration buildings, practice fields and player complex supporting the Dallas Cowboys football team of the National Football league in the United States.
The Star will also contain multi-use facilities featuring a new Omni Hotel, retail locations and office space.
These COLDSTORE units join those already installed at the AT&T Stadium. Formerly known as Cowboys Stadium, the city-owned 101,000-seat capacity stadium with a retractable roof in Arlington, Texas, United States serves as the game-day home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) as well as a location for events ranging from concerts to motorcycle racing.
Veracity COLDSTORE is an innovative Network Attached Storage (NAS) system designed for video surveillance systems requiring long duration archives with the highest levels of reliability. The revolutionary sequential storage system typically offers a 90% power saving versus RAID with much higher reliability and a lossless failover technology that removes the need for time consuming rebuilds of failed drives by instead utilising an instant hot swap disk technology.
Offered as a 3U high, 120TB unit that uses only 0.5W per Terabyte; COLDSTORE is also a part of the innovative TRINITY architecture that eliminates the need for Network Video Recorder (NVR) servers by allowing IP cameras to record directly to the COLDSTORE sequential recording system.
