New Co-ordinator for ABUS
In these difficult times customer support is an all the more vital ingredient to successful business. Following her initial introduction as PA to ABUS UK in 2009, Tracey Weston has taken on the challenge of a much broader role within the company.
Further to software enhancements allowing live ex-Germany ABUS stock information to be available in the UK office, Tracey has taken on the role of stock and order co-ordinator between ABUS' UK wholesale partners Hoppe & Toolbank, as well as working as mediator for all distribution quotations and enquiries. Having this information to hand in the UK via a UK phone or email, but more important, via a skilled and personable UK voice has proven a great benefit to ABUS' partners and distributors.
Despite having no previous lock experience, Tracey has also proven an indispensable asset to Andy Mace's UK service department, being now fully conversant with how to master key and pin up padlocks suites for both the ABUS padlock & ABUS Pfaffenhain cylinder suites.
The ABUS UK Sales team have also seen the benefit of Tracey's wider role as she now co-ordinates the marketing requirements of ABUS UK. Tracey is 'modelling' a Granit jacket being made available to participating retailers. Her role fulfilling the sales team's requirements for merchandising goods, POS, and price lists has become a vital part of the ABUS UK service.
ABUS UK's MD Nick Vanderhoest commented:
