Soldering on to gain CPD points

Lock Decoders have been running a series of soldering classes for locksmiths wanting to learn this art and move to the next level. All MLA members who do the class get 3 CPD points. In addition to basic soldering skills Lock Decoders teach the students how to remove eeproms and micro processors.

The class is held in a purpose-built room and is open to anyone wanting to learn this skill. As each student has their own large workbench with tools such as soldering irons and hot air stations supplied there is a maximum number of 6 people per class, taught by two trainers.

"Everyone who has done this course raves about it!" says Lock Decoders' Pete Southern

The next course date is 18th January 2011 and costs £240 plus vat per person. The next one after that is expected to be held 3rd week in February, with the actual date to be confirmed in LASN as soon as possible.

With places being strictly limited anyone interested is urged to contact Lock Decoders without delay.
