Axis Security scores a hat-trick at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards

Axis Security, a leading provider of bespoke security services, has for the second year in a row been selected in three categories at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards, including Security Guarding Company of the Year, an award the company won both last year and in 2011. This is also the fifth consecutive year that Axis Security has been nominated for this prestigious award.

Axis Security has seen spectacular success in recent years with a turnover rising from £2.4 million to £49 million in just six years and an ACS score that has increased year-on-year placing it in the top 5% of ACS security companies in the UK.

In recognition of this achievement and the company's continued commitment to raising standards and promoting best practice, it has again been shortlisted for ACS Champion of the Year, a title the company hopes to retain from its win last year. The third nomination, and a new award category for the company, is for the Contributions to Standards in the Security Sector award, where the company's proactive use of training and site audits, internal employee awards and its development of a contract management and performance measurement software platform, has been acknowledged as significantly increasing standards within the industry.

Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, is proud of the company's strong track record in the awards: "We won Security Guarding Company of the Year both last year and three years ago, and to get a hat-trick of nominations two years in a row demonstrates our commitment to delivering the highest security standards in the industry. We continue to instil and develop best practice through technology, auditing, training and client communication."
