LPCB grows capabilities

LPCB is now able to carry out testing to EN 1627 (Pedestrian doorsets, windows, curtain walling, grilles and shutters - Burglar resistance - Requirements and classification) after becoming amongst the first companies to achieve UKAS accreditation.
This addition further reinforces LPCB's strong position within the security market, providing greater breadth of testing and approvals to manufacturers of security products and systems.
The EN 1627 standard determines the resistance of fa�ades to physical attack by an intruder using a range of different and readily available tools.
LPCB is already recognised by Secured By Design for the testing and approval of security products and systems.
Approved products are widely used by specifiers building owners and regulators to manage and reduce security risks to ensure that the product or system satisfies the specified performance reliability.?
