Love locks are being unchained
Declarations of love are being unchained from Australia's most iconic bridge.
Dozens of padlocks with engravings of personal affection, known as "love locks'', have been clipped to a pedestrian fence on Sydney Harbour Bridge in recent weeks, and NSW Government's Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) isn't amused.
It claims these rusting locks are causing "safety and maintenance issues'' and will be removed.
