UBM Live's Brian Sims said: "2012 has been an excellent year for entries to the IFSEC International Security Industry Awards, both in terms of quality and breadth of coverage. In particular, all those companies and partnerships submitting entries for the Guarding Service Delivery to the Customer and Best Policing Partnership categories did themselves proud. At a time when policing budgets are stretched it's heartening to know that private sector organisations are working so diligently and consistently alongside their colleagues in the public realm to combat crime, maintain law and order and improve the social environment for us all.

"There's also fierce competition evident in the security product and solutions-based categories, with so many companies coveting the top spots. The awards ceremony on Monday 14 May is certainly going to be a great occasion. We'll once again celebrate Best Practice and significant achievements attained by the security sector's many skilled professionals."

With Norbain Group as Headline Sponsor, the IFSEC International Security Industry Awards, produced in association with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), acknowledge the people, products and technological advancements that have played a major part in the security industry over the past year.
