AMG Systems increases focus on international Business Development

* Thandi.jpgAMG Systems announces that Ms Thandi St Leger has joined the International Business Development team with the view to expand their market share and increase focus in specific market verticals.

Thandi joins AMG with a strong background in sales & marketing as well as International executive recruitment experience within Oil and Gas and Construction environments.

"I am delighted that Thandi has joined our Sales Team", says International Sales Director of AMG Systems, Sara Bullock. "AMG Systems has always been known for its pro-active pre and post-sales effort and Thandi will be a valuable addition to the team. We are seeing an increasing number of projects, especially in the Middle East and they all need a certain amount of handholding as they're generally very large projects running over many months."

Thandi St Leger comments, "Having worked in a variety of international recruitment and security roles I find it refreshing that AMG Systems, a specialist in transmission technology, has a focused strategy for dedicated business development in International markets. Security is a sector that is experiencing significant growth globally, particularly in countries with significant natural resources and AMG products are perfectly placed to overcome the challenges faced by companies looking to protect their assets. The harsh environments and need for zero tolerance in large scale industrial security systems require specific and at times bespoke capabilities such as total system resilience, which AMG accommodate with consistency, accuracy and ease. I am very much looking forward to working with AMG and their clients and partners. AMG has an excellent track record in International projects, having supplied into over 50 countries worldwide. With such an impressive project platform to work from I can approach this role from a position of strength backed by the good reputation and range of impressive reference sites that AMG has developed."

Thandi originates from South Africa and moved to the UK in early 1993. She has a number of qualifications and holds a certificate in Business Management which she intends to continue to study to MBA level.
