The jail that needs new locks!
The Putnam County jail in Tennessee has failed its 2011 Corrections Institute inspection and if the findings listed in a recently issued report are left uncorrected, the facility could lose its state certification.
Faulty locks are the main culprit, officials say. It could cost the county up to $165,000 to replace 48 of those door fixtures in two medium security areas.
