Locksmiths' Qualifications & Apprenticeships Survey
Skills for Security is asking employers within the Locksmithing sector to take part in a short survey on current and future provision for qualifications and apprenticeships. This research project was identified by the Locksmiths Advisory Working Group as an essential part of the qualification development work currently under way.
Every employer's opinion is important and you are all welcome to take part - whether you are a sole trader, a small/medium sized business or a large, national organisation.
The survey invites employers' views on the range of training and qualifications available now and changes proposed for the future, including an apprenticeship framework if that is what the industry needs.
The survey is available now at:

and responses are needed by Friday 15 July.
Please contact Ruth Oliver at Skills for Security on 01905 744011 or Louisa Ball at Worcester Research on 01905 729276 if you have any questions.
Skills for Security is the Sector Skills Organisation for the Security Business Sector, working with employers to raise standards and meet the demand for a more professional, highly trained and qualified workforce.
