Real time video solutions support covert surveillance
Vemotion Interactive, specialists in live video transmission over low bandwidth connections, will be demonstrating live, for the first time, their Rapid Deployment Encoder at this year's Counter Terror Expo being held at London's Olympia, 19-20 April.
The Vemotion Rapid Deployment Encoder (RDE) is a fully contained video acquisition and transmission unit offering reliable remote and covert surveillance and monitoring in a form factor that can be readily deployed wherever needed.
Built on Vemotion's acclaimed live streaming technology, the RDE enables live video images to be transmitted over low bandwidth networks. The preconfigured unit includes a GPRS/3G router enabling images to be sent over a mobile phone network.
The RDE is housed in a purpose built weatherproof case with waterproof connections and is supplied with a remotely deployable battery-operated camera. High power batteries are included and the solution is suitable for standalone operation either in Vehicle or ground based operation.
