Fast lock fitting the Souber way
Souber Tools were recently contacted by a Carpenter/Joiner who was an avid user of Youtube and had uploaded many clips onto the website. He'd recently bought a Souber DBB Morticer and uploaded yet another effort onto the website. So, he wrote to Souber Tools about his prowess in cutting 6 mortices in 12 minutes.
We might have been impressed, but realised he was only using a cordless drill. So, Managing Director, Paul Souber explained to him that the Morticer was primarily for corded drills and that he was making life harder for himself by using a cordless drill. Paul explained that workshop trials with corded drills and the new carbide cutters gave much faster results. One such workshop trial cut a sash lock in a solid block door in under 45 seconds.
Not to be outdone, the installer then decided to go one step better. He then made another home video and achieving a record time of 22 seconds. You can watch him going wild and smashing a bottle of wine in the process !!
