Europe's first cyber security research centre has been launched in Cardiff

A cyber security research centre, which is the first of its kind in Europe, will be located at Cardiff University . The Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Analytics, which will provide world-leading research into the problem of cyber security, will be at the university's School of Computer Science and Informatics.

In partnership with experts from Airbus, researchers at Cardiff University will carry out world-leading studies into machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence for cyber-attack detection. This research will aim to protect corporate IT networks, intellectual property and critical national infrastructure.
