After locking himself out of his house, Ronald Rutter, 91, was so incensed by a row with his locksmith that he refused to pay and climbed over his neighbour’s garden fence in a bid to break into his own home.

However, it is thought that Mr Rutter fell into a narrow gap between the shed and a tree and got stuck. His body was not discovered for ten days, Westminster Coroner’s Court was told.
