Portable Wet Area Light

Larson Electronics has released a commercial grade LED light designed to replace traditional fluorescents that is suitable for use in wet areas and durable enough to withstand rigorous handling. The Magnalight WAL-PFL-4LED-120-10 portable LED floodlight system produces 45% more light than similar T8 fluorescent fixtures while drawing less than 1 amp of electricity. The entire unit is designed for durability and ruggedness and can withstand significant abuse without serious damage or degradation in performance.

The Magnalight WAL-PFL-4LED-120-10 contains four 24 watt T8 LED tubes and is available in color temperatures of 4300K or 6000K with a CRI of 76.

The four foot long LED tube bulbs produce a total of 8,640 lumens while drawing only 1 amp at 120 volts. Polycarbonate tubes encase the LED lamps and the ABS end supports are encased in rubber, resulting in a fixture that can tolerate the heavy shocks and vibrations associated with handling the lamp close to work operations. The fixture is designed to allow connecting these work lights in a series, with a booted and covered outlet in one end and a ten foot cord on the other so they can be daisy chained together. These lamps are portable and can be laid flat, stood on end, or hung overhead using a canvas strap that is included with the fixture. The T8 LED tube bulbs have a rated service life of 50,000 hours and their solid state design adds to the fixtures' durability and ruggedness.

Since these portable LED light fixtures can be linked together end to end, customers can use several of these in one environment with a single extension cord, reducing trip hazards and minimizing the time for setup and break down."
